Due to the “Covid 19” news, the forum on new mobility will be postponed to June in Bordeaux. For the first time, the retrofit industry in France will be represented alongside international experts in electric mobility.

Electric vehicles, an accelerating market

In 2019, there will be a 28% increase in electric vehicle registrations in France, with more than 70,000 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles registered in that year alone. In total, there are about 200,000 electric and hybrid vehicles in France, i.e. nearly 2% of all vehicles on the road.

The 6th edition of the clean mobility congress

The ELECTRIC-ROAD congress responds to this demand for clean mobility and offers a meeting based on exchange, discovery and sharing of knowledge on this highly topical subject.
A crossroads of meetings, this 6th edition, organised in june in Bordeaux, is aimed at professionals and will welcome the general public for the first year.

Retrofit in the spotlight

On the program of the edition, several major subjects will be discussed such as the electrification of public transport, the airbus battery, recharging networks, digital at the heart of these new mobilities… But also the arrival of retrofitting in France!
ELECTRIC-ROAD is the first national event to offer a French retrofit pavilion, welcoming the AIRe association and its players in the field of electric vehicle conversion, who have come together to exhibit their models.

Two major events are planned to highlight the arrival of this sector of the electrical conversion of vehicles:

  • Day 2 :

A plenary session is planned on the theme: “Retrofit: after an adapted law in France, what happens in Europe?” in the presence of:
Gérard FELZER, Transport Specialist and former airline pilot, CARWATT
Arnaud PIGOUDINES, Founder of RETROFUTURE Electric Vehicles and Co-Chairman of the Industry Association
Jeremy CANTIN, Vice-President of the Maintenance Branch of the FNA
Gauthier CHATELUS, Deputy Director CAISSE DES DEPÔTS
and Thibault MOURA, COM’PUBLICS, Secretary General of the sector and moderator of the debate.

  • Day 3 :

An interactive meeting between retrofit professionals and the general public for a game of “questions / answers” on the subject of converting vehicles to electric.
